«Guyana Motor Racing & Sports Club» présente «The Skyline Mortgage 2006 International/ Caribbean Championship». Des équipes sélectionnées du Trinidad, Tobago, Barbades, Jamaïque, Etats-Unis, Canada, Suriname et la Guyane compétitionneront au «Dakota Racing Circuit» en Guyane (Amérique du Sud) participeront à cet événement.
L'ÉQUIPE CANADA dans la catégorie «motorcycle racing» sera composée des Canadiens Craig Atkinson, Catherine Nadeau, Rahul Dua, Kris Henchke, Genevieve Lesieur et Kevin Graham.
Le «Caribbean Championship» présentera plusieurs disciplines dont des courses de voitures, Superbikes, 125cc, et carts. Cet événement annuel est reconnu pour attirer une foule d'environ 30 000 spectateurs d'à travers le monde et implique tous les Caraïbes qui seront représentés par leurs meilleures coureurs.

The Guyana Motor Racing & Sports Club presents The Skyline Mortgage 2006 International/Caribbean Championship. Hand-selected teams from Trinidad & Tobago, Barbados, Jamaica, the USA, Canada, Suriname and Guyana will race head-to-head at the South Dakota Racing Circuit in beautiful Guyana, South America.
TEAM CANADA in the motorcycle racing division will be represented by Canadians, Craig Atkinson, Catherine Nadeau, Rahul Dua, Kris Henchke, Genevieve Lesieur and Kevin Graham.
Team Canada is sponsored by Skyline Mortgage in partnership with the GMRSC. The motorcycles and equipment will travel with Tennessee International Freight Inc. to and from Guyana, while the team and their mechanics will fly with BWIA on October 24th.
The Caribbean's largest motor racing event of the year will include action in many racing disciplines, including several groups of cars, Superbikes, 125cc bikes and shifter carts.
This annual event has been known to draw over 30,000 spectators from around the world, as all of the Caribbean countries involved in track racing are represented by their best drivers. A traditional "match-race" points format will determine both a Team Championship and an individual Driver Champion.
